The evening of October 20th began with a delicious full, pulled pork dinner with a wide assortment of desserts. Frank Dunham, the Whea Esta BBQ Peoples Choice winner, prepared the meat and the Board Members baked and stirred up the rest of the meal. This event is one Chamber Members look forward to as our local merchants donate great items to be auctioned off with flair. This is the Chamber’s
main ways & means fundraiser and it is where the money for the annual Christmas drawing comes from. Chamber members, Gary and Dianah Robison and Wiggins Auctioneers were on hand, once again, to keep the auction running smoothly. The lovely, Whea Esta Queen, Miss Jessica Parrish, was on hand to show off the items for bidding, and bid they did…this year’s Feed & Auction came in far above the past year’s. A new feature this year was the “Random Facts” portion. Participating
businesses were asked to supply the Chamber with random facts, it was fun to learn new things about our businesses. There were about 94 people attending the Feed & Auction of 86 items. If you missed the Feed & Auction this year make plans to not miss it next year!
Thank you to all of our wonderful Members who support the Chamber so well! Your generosity helps the Chamber to do more and is a lot of what makes this such a great town to live, work & play!
